About the experience
Far more than a museum complex, the Olive Oil Museum is an interpretation centre for the vast and rich culture of olive oil, where history, tradition, heritage, innovation and experiences come together to share the world of the olive grove.
Through exhibitions, interactive screens, tastings, educational activities and olive tourism experiences, visitors discover a product that has shaped Portugal's landscape, gastronomy and identity for thousands of years. A place where past, present and future meet to celebrate one of Portugal's great treasures.
On the same site, the Olea restaurant offers regional cuisine with panoramic views, and the Traditional Shop gathers the house's own products — olive oil from the on-site mill, olive-leaf liqueur, powdered olive oil and local products from the region.
