The Building

An 18th-century noble house of whitewashed walls and granite stonework, where late-baroque meets neoclassical, and contemporary comfort settles in with quiet discretion.

The whitewashed façade, with pilastered corners, opens through a depressed-arch portal crowned by the family coat of arms. Above, wrought-iron balconies set the rhythm of the house.

Inside, ceilings carry delicate low-relief neoclassical stucco; ivory-white lacquered doors, gilded carved leaves and vast halls with monumental stone fireplaces, the legacy of the 19th-century works by the 1st Count of Vilar Seco.

The bright summer hall and the winter hall, dominated by its fireplace, invite you to put down the book and let time pass. The breakfast room welcomes up to 20 guests in an intimate setting; the great events hall, a former wine press, hosts dinners and celebrations for up to 100, with a fully equipped professional kitchen.

Throughout, the house preserves original woodwork, stucco and stonework. Contemporary touches step in on tiptoe, with the single purpose of letting you rest well.
