Vilar Seco is in the municipality of Nelas, one of the most distinguished sub-regions of the Dão. From here it is a short drive to family estates with generations of history, to Santar — a recognised wine village — and to the vineyard and pine landscapes that define the region.
Guests who want to dedicate several days to wine also find the manor a natural base for combined visits to Viseu, Douro and Bairrada.
